END OF LIFE DOULA
My mission is to celebrate and honour life. As an End of Life Doula, I provide a warm, nurturing and compassionate support system for those approaching end of life and their families. I facilitate a peaceful journey to the dying through practical, emotional and soulful support and guidance. I advocate for my client and their family, ensuring their wishes and needs are respected and met during the dying process.
As an End of Life Doula, my role is to support the dying and their families by:
● Providing emotional support – listen without judgement and offer comfort and
companionship during an already challenging time
● Facilitating conversations – help families and individuals have open, honest
conversations about end of life wishes, including advance care planning, funeral
arrangements and legacy planning
● Advocating for the client – serve as an advocate for the client, ensuring that their
wishes and needs are met and respected during the dying process
● Offering practical support – assist in daily tasks such as meal preparation, appointment
scheduling, coordinating care from health-care providers, etc.
